Tucked away in the quiet suburbs of SS3, this restaurant offers delectable local chow with a limited menu. Specialty here is the Bak Kut Teh Noodles (RM4.50). That's right, noodles and pork in herbal broth. This hybrid however turned out to be disappointing. The soup was watered down and there was no concentrated herbal flavor to indulge in. Most of the pork seemed to be missing too, either swimming somewhere or disintegrated into the broth--hardly living up to being Bah Kut Teh. The saving grace for this dish are the home-made tasting noodles. The Braised Pork Rice (RM4.50) is a better choice. The warm gravy is flavorful, and the braised pork is juicy to chew on, complimenting the rice and possesses perfect comfort food qualities. Prices here are affordable and the staff ever friendly. But if the restaurant is going to focus on the limited choices, it would've been great if the food is exceptional.
