Placebo will be in KL to rock you out good this month. Formed in 1994 at the height of the Britpop era, Placebo have prevailed where other bands from that era have faltered, amassing a loyal following of die-hard fans along the way. Their music has been described as a glam version of Nirvana with a tinge of Depeche Mode, Radiohead, Sonic Youth, and the Pixies.Their performance in KL will be supported by performances from local acts, Twilight Action Girl (TAG), DJ Hackeem Hacker, and up-and-coming singing sensation, Ikwal.
