Do you know that there are only 500 tigers left in Malaysia? Tigers are hunted illegally for their fur, meat and other parts, for medicinal values. You can do your part to save the tigers by joining theTx2 campaign, Double or Nothing: Save the Tiger, and you save much more! organised by World Wildlife Federation (WWF) Malaysia.

This campaign hopes to achieve having 1,000 tigers by 2020. In collaboration with FGS Dong Zen Temple, the Tx2 Campaign will be held in Fo Guang Shan Dong Zen Temple, Jenjarum, Selangor, from 14 to 21 February 2010. There will be symbolic face painting event on 1,000 faces. You can also take part in the Tiger Trail on 21 February 2010, a fun and educational activity, in which participants will race from one check point to the other by fulfilling tasks or answering questions.

Last but not least, there will also be booths by WWF Malaysia, TRAFFIC Southeast Asia and Malaysian Conservation Alliance for Tigers (MYCAT), where you will be able to adopt a pair of tigers and purchase limited Tx2 merchandises.

What do you wish you had more of as a child?
Pocket money! I used to get only 20sen back in school.
Respect from my parents. I am my own person!
I wish my parents listened to me, instead of keeping to the idea that "children should be seen and not heard"
Attention! My siblings took it away from me. Grrr!
Freedom. My parents never let me go out with my friends.
Brand new clothes, not hand-me-downs that were ill-fitting!
Maturity to impress and annoy the adults with.
Time! Everything happened so quickly and I miss those carefree days.
Toys, gadgets and the latest computer games, because we kids were competitive about things like that.
I certainly wish I heard less of the phrase, "When I was your age..."
