Eat Like An Elephant
Posted on 25 April 2008 by deniseThe dining scene in KL is blooming faster than you can burp, with a new restaurant bursting through every crack in the city. Everybody wants to have their own restaurant cafÈ bar like it’s an iPod. But all the much better for those who are too lazy to cook. New addition to Bukit Damansara, A Li Yaa (means “elephant” in Sinhalese) recently opened its doors, right next to Jarrod & Rawlins. It’s brown and woody decor, with an indoor and outdoor garden dining, though a little typical for an Indian restaurant, makes it oh so cosy and warm to dine at. A Li Yaa serves Sri Lankan food (yes, it's close enough to being just Indian food) that will have you paying a little bit more than your usual curry-driven restaurants, but why not when you can have a great sensual meal vibe?
