Pannaz Cafe Review

Friday, 28/08/09 - 19:20PM Filed in Food by sarah | Views: 3469 | Comments: 0

A name like Pannaz conjures up images of the friendly neighbourhood mamak. But Pannaz is a comfortable cafe with top-quality food. Every dish we ordered was tantalising and did not disappoint.

We started off with the sautéed tiger prawns in spicy plancha sauce (RM15). Rich in taste and texture, the herb-infused sauce was a perfect accompaniment to the tender prawns and left us craving more. The barbecue lamb chop, one of the house specialities, was well worth every cent spent. At only RM17.90, you get two generous slices of lamb with your choice of black pepper or mint sauce. Those who are turned off by the pungent taste of lamb need not worry as the dish is well-marinated and flavorsome even without the sauce.

Meanwhile, the grilled snapper fillet with tomato salsa and fresh salad (RM17.90) was grilled well and gratifying. You can tell that each dish is carefully prepared. The staff is are attentive and amiable. This is a great place to dine and definitely one we would visit again and again.
