15Malaysia: Release dates

Singer songwriter Pete Teo and the team behind Malaysian Artistes For Unity (MAFU) have worked with local filmmakers to come up with short films showcasing Malaysian social and political issues. Similar to the anti-racism song and music video Here In My Home15Malaysia highlights socio-political issues in Malaysia. A total of 15 filmmakers collaborated with personalities, including Adibah Noor, James Lee, Sharifah Amani, Harith Iskandar, Atilia, Amber Chia, Serena C,  Minister of Health Liow Tiong Lai, Nik Aziz, Khairy Jamaluddin and many others. 

Here are the release dates of all the 15Malaysia films:

17 August - POTONG SAGA by Ho Yuhang
19 August - CHOCOLATE by Yasmin Ahmad
21 August - HEALTHY PARANOIA by Khairil M Bahar
24 August - LOLLIPOP by Nam Ron
26 August - HALAL by Liew Seng Tat
28 August - DUIT KECIL by Johan John
31 August - LUMPUR by Kamal Sabran
2 September - THE TREE by Amir Muhammad
4 September - ONE FUTURE by Tan Chui Mui
7 September - SLOVAK SLING by Woo Ming Jin
9 September - GERHANA by James Lee
11 September - METER by Benji Lim & Bahir Yeuseff
14 September - THE SON by Desmond Ng
15 September - HOUSE by Linus Chung
16 September - ROJAK by Suleiman Brothers

The official launch and film release will take place on 17 August. The offical website (www.15malaysia.com) will also be available for viewing on the same date. All these films, made in various languages, will be available for streaming and can be downloaded for free.
