Wearever U Like

Friday, 29/05/09 - 12:45PM Filed in Lifestyle by myra | Views: 1921 | Comments: 0

Wearever U Like is the kind of blogshop that makes online shopping pleasurable again. If you’re put off by slipshod blogshops that take a flippant attitude to, say, all-important skins and merchandise photography, Wearever U Like will take your stressed-out eyes on a vacation.

Single-handedly started by Eugene Foo last year, the site is a one-stop shop for men and women. “Wearever U Like was born out of my love for fashion and the desire to run my own humble business,” he says. The dearth of high-quality men’s blogshops has been a bone of contention for some who think standards have dropped since second-rate women’s blogshops have glutted cyberspace with tacky threads and inferior workmanship. Eugene’s store is poised to reverse this downward trend.

“We have something for everyone, with a little more on men's wear compared to women's wear,” explains Eugene, and it’s obvious this model is working for him. Framed by a clean white background, scrolling down reveals a myriad of choice items. For men there are casual wardrobe basics like singlets and sportswear to more formal wear like coats and cardigans. “Then there are the smart casuals such as skinny jeans, round/V-neck tees etc,” says Eugene. “We also have some cool fashion accessories, including skinny ties, buckles, belts, fedoras, caps, scarves, shoes, necklaces and bracelets… well, you name it, we’ve got it.”

Ladies are also in for a treat with everything from casual dresses to charming accessories like necklaces and, erm, bra straps. “We also offer some unisex items and baby outfits,” he adds. Expansive choice doesn’t mean Eugene neglects the locally made. “Our items are mostly made and designed in Malaysia,” he confesses. “As someone who was previously involved in the creative industry, I must say our local design is not bad at all! We do have limited items that are imported from Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan and Korea. But you might not see many of them since they are hot sellers and get sold out fast.”

Prices range from RM9.90–RM150 with imported and limited items costing a bit more. Whatever your taste or budget (or gender), log on to weareverulike.blogspot.com for unbeatable urban cool.
