Topshop presents Sister Bliss Preview

Tuesday, 30/12/08 - 17:18PM Filed in Nightlife by sarah | Views: 728 | Comments: 0

Sister Bliss, known by her real name as Ayalah Bentovim, for many is synonymous with electronic house, trance and trip-hop fusion as part of the massive, arena-filling British band Faithless. She creates much of the electronic-heavy music for Faithless herself, yet a talented musician in her own right, the first lady of house music can play the piano, violin, saxophone and bass.

Through the commercial success of Faithless, Sister Bliss’ solo foray into the world of electronica has been met with critical acclaim and she is touted as one of the best female DJs in the world, often outperforming the men in this largely testosterone-lead profession. In fact, she’s performed at some of the biggest international dance events like the UK’s Glastonbury and the international Creamfields festivals, all while finding the time to release mix compilations and make music for film, TV and theatre.

Her long career behind the decks has culminated in the highly listenable July, 2008 release Nightmoves, a double CD of moody progressive house, essential Bliss beats and club anthem mixes with the likes of Pryda (aka the famed Eric "Call On Me" Prydz), which are sure to be featured at her Zouk set. If you want to enjoy a night of quality dance music, don’t miss this DJ superstar when she brings her brand of soaring, heartfelt trance and progressive house to Zouk this month. To make advanced reservations please call 03-2171 2075 (12pm - 6pm) or 016-332 3191 (after 6pm) or email rsvn@zoukclub.com.my. Zouk Premium members can enjoy complimentary entry with one guest before 11pm.
